Create Your First Graphic

Follow these steps to go from a blank canvas to an exported graphic file.

Step 1: Open the Editor

After logging in, Tweenly directs you to the Editor. This is where you design and animate graphics.

For a full description of the Editor interface, see Editor Overview.

Step 2: Add Objects to the Scene

  1. In the Left Sidebar, click Rectangle, Text, or Image to add an object to the canvas.
  2. Position and resize the object on the Canvas.
  3. Select the object and adjust its properties in the Right Sidebar — color, size, font, borders, and more.

Repeat to build your graphic layout. Nest objects by dragging them into a rectangle container.

Step 3: Animate Your Graphic

  1. Select an object on the Canvas.
  2. In the Right Sidebar, open the Animate tab.
  3. Click + animation to add an animation (e.g., fade in, slide, scale).
  4. Adjust the duration, delay, and easing as needed.
  5. Use the Timeline at the bottom to reposition and resize animation blocks.
  6. Drag the Playhead to preview the animation at any point in time.
  7. Click Play to preview the full animation.

Step 4: Save Your Graphic

  1. Click Save in the top bar.
  2. Fill in the metadata:
    • Title — name your graphic file.
    • Description — optionally add a summary.
    • Tags — add keywords for easier searching in the Gallery.
    • Workspace — choose where to store the file.
  3. Click Save. The file is now stored in the Gallery.

For quick saves during your work, click the Save icon without changing metadata.

Step 5: Export Your Work

  1. Open the More menu in the top bar.
  2. Choose an export format:
    • Export Package (ZIP) — self-contained file with all assets. Recommended for production.
    • Export HTML — lightweight file with online asset references.
  3. The file downloads to your computer, ready for integration into your playout system.
